Atelier IETM

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the IETM, the main European live performance network, its French members, accompanied by European and international members and contributors present in Avignon during the festival, meet you July 11 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the park of the Château de St Chamand (direct access from the center by the Avignon tramway in 15 min) for a public workshop intended to collect and share your testimonies, desires and points of view on the international issue, confronted with new paradigms in a post-pandemic future.

Comment le manque de connaissance du secteur culturel crée des obstacles pour les artistes et les publics en situation de handicap ?

Retour sur des résonances locales en lien avec des observations de l’étude.
On the Move, le réseau d'information sur la mobilité culturelle, présentera les premières observations d’une nouvelle étude majeure, commandée par le British Council dans le cadre du projet européen Europe Beyond Access, examinant les obstacles que rencontrent les personnes en situation de handicap pour accéder aux arts de la scène.

Cette étude qui couvre 40 pays se base sur un examen de la littérature existante dans le domaine, une enquête ouverte à grande échelle et une série d'entretiens. Elle permettra de mettre en perspective les retours d'expériences des intervenants invités.

Avec Marie Le Sourd et Yohann Floch (On the Move), Irene van Zeeland (Holland Festival) et des acteurs lyonnais du spectacle vivant.

Nele Hertling was present at the legendary table around which the IETM (then Informal European Theater Meeting) was founded in 1980. Creator of the Hebbel Theater and of the Tanz im August festival in Berlin throughout the world, Nele Hertling is one of those great cultural personalities who initiated new artistic encounters, fostered cultural openness and the circulation of ideas. In conversation with Bashar Murkus, Palestinian author and director who presents Le Musée at the Avignon Festival, she will share her perspective on the evolution of international live performance networks and the challenges and meaning of the “new international”.
