JIMMY is the true story of a young man who took on more than 500 different identities. Not driven by greed, but simply, as he says, “to be loved.” What unfolds is the story of an impostor who gradually begins to question the imposture of others. We were warned: this is a true story. And it is barely believable.

The company’s choreographic work, composed frame by frame, creates a sense of editing that generates unease: spectators may at times wonder whether what they have just seen really took place.

Sergi Emiliano i Griell, the company’s director, explores the depths of human nature through true-crime stories and creates unsettling theatrical forms that shift our ways of seeing and the very texture of the present moment. In partnership with the Théâtre de L’Odyssée – a designated national stage in Périgueux, La Troisième Génération develops a theatrical and physical language inspired by film editing and graphic novels.

La Troisième Génération was founded in 2009 by actors seeking to place the body at the center of their work, freeing themselves from the dominant influence of text. They chose a stripped-down form of theatre, with a rigorous commitment to narrative, to the real events they explore, and to the choreographic language that can emerge from them. Since 2021, the company has been associated with the Théâtre de l’Odyssée – a nationally recognized venue for “Art and Creation” in Périgueux.

Sergi Emiliano i Griell - Stage director, co-artistic director

A stage director, choreographer, and actor, he graduated from the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art in Barcelona and holds a Master’s degree (Master 2) in Theatre Studies from Sorbonne Nouvelle University. He is a co-founder of La Troisième Génération, with which he has created, directed, and performed in several works of physical theatre. With extensive experience as a teacher of physical acting techniques, he also leads workshops in various institutions in France and abroad.

Agnès Delachair - Actress, co-artistic director

An actress and graduate of the International School of Dramatic Corporeal Mime, she teaches in schools and conservatories in Paris and Barcelona and co-founded the company La Troisième Génération.

In cinema, she played the lead role in C. Carron’s feature film Ne nous soumets pas à la tentation and received the Young Female Hope Award for La part de Franck by Dominique Baumard. She is currently one of the leading roles in the series Le Chalet by Camille Bordes Resnais, as well as the lead role in the feature film Les histoires d’amour de Liv S., directed by Anna Luif.
