AS PART OF THE PAVILIONS OF THE FUTURE
Born in 1993 in Tehran, Fatima Hossaini is an Afghan photographer and gallery owner. After graduating in photography from the University of Tehran, she produced photo reports in Afghanistan, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Central Asia. She exhibits in Afghanistan, Austria, Germany, France, Iran, Turkey, United States and works with UNESCO or with the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tehran. She won the Prize for the best photo portrait by the Iranian Photography Association, and the Prize for the best photography at the APFF Festival in Pakistan. She is one of the ten youngest winners of the international Hypatia festival. Arrived in France in 2021, she is a member of the workshop of artists in exile.
