Martine goes to rape

Le Rire d'Ariane is a mischievous and rather cash-strapped theater company that puts on provocative shows. Based in Lyon, it’s made up of a bunch of people from all over the place—with capital letters. Anyway, these days, capital letters are only good for catching the eye of the pros. Their show *Martine au viol* has been performed at venues including Aurillac, Le Nid de Poule, and Les Invites de Villeurbanne. *0783635473*, their latest production, whose script won the ARTCENA Prize, will be performed at Théâtre 13.

Célia JAILLET is 25 years old and has been studying playwriting at ENSATT since 2023. She attended a preparatory class in literature and earned a Master’s degree in Modern Literature, as well as a COP in theater from Villeurbanne. As a dramaturg at the Théâtre de l’Iris, she is also involved in circus and music and writes theater reviews for Le Bruit du Off, Inferno, and Zone Critique. Her training at ENSATT led her to meet and collaborate with many figures in the contemporary theater scene, such as Pauline Peyrade, Marion Aubert, Céline Champinot, Olivier Neveux, Caroline Germain, and others. In 2025, she won the Artcena Prize and the JLAAT Prize for her play 07 83 63 54 73, which will be published as a novel by POL in October 2026.

Mélodie FOURMEAUX is 24 years old. She is a student at the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) in Lyon, pursuing a Master’s degree in Dramaturgy, and is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Gender Studies at Paris 8. She specializes in research-creation focused on contemporary feminist theater. Her training at the ENS has allowed her to work with artists such as Barbara Métais-Chastanier, François Grémaud, and Clara Hédouin.

Fiona JULIEN is 24 years old and began her journey in theater at a small workshop in Nîmes before enrolling in the conservatory. She earned her CET and then entered the acting program at ENSATT in Lyon in 2021. There, she crossed paths with Michel Cerda, Louis Arène, and Florence Minder, among others.

Paul LABOURGADE is 27 years old. After completing his university studies, he trained in theater with the Atalante equal opportunity troupe and at the Salle Blanche, before joining the 86th class at ENSATT, specializing in acting. Most recently, he appeared in *Hasard et destin*, directed by Xavier Gallais at the Théâtre de la Reine Blanche; in *Hamlet en itinérance*, a play directed by Bruno Boulzaguet as part of the “En caves” festival; and in *Mémento Mori*, a performance presented at Point Éphémère.
