Marine Bachelot Nguyen
Between Vietnam, France and Russia, Marine Bachelot Nguyen, François-Xavier Phan and Marina Keltchewsky go in search of their family memories, in resonance with the great History and the great ideologies (Christianity, Colonialism, Communism, Capitalism). On the stage, they summon ancestors, statues, icons and severed heads. And they unfold a three-voices narrative moving from the intimate to the epic, a historical and sensitive journey that interweaving video, languages and songs.
We went through our family trees, we tracked down the bodies of our ancestors, we looked for sap or blood, and especially the missing branches.
