Chile Delegation

Call For Applications

Chile Delegation

The Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage of Chile, in collaboration with La Manufacture, and with institutional support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile and the French Institute, invites Chilean performing arts companies and professional agents with proven experience and works ready for international circulation to apply to be part of the Chilean delegation participating in the Festival Off Avignon 2026, to be held from 4 to 21 July 2026, at La Manufacture, in the city of Avignon, France.

The selected individuals and companies will be part of the Chilean programme hosted at La Manufacture, gaining access to a strategic platform for international presentation and visibility, as well as professional networking opportunities, meetings with programmers and international agents, and activities aimed at the future projection and circulation of works and of the Chilean performing arts scene.

This call for applications will be open from 24 February to 20 March 2026 and is implemented in coordination with the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage, through the Executive Secretariat for Performing Arts and the Executive Secretariat for Creative Economy, and with the French Institute, in line with the Internationalisation Strategy for the Performing Arts and the agreements adopted by the National Council for Performing Arts.

1. Scope of the Call

This call includes two participation modalities: Artistic Programming and Representative Agents. In both modalities, applicants must hold a valid passport at the time of application.

a. Artistic Programming

La Manufacture’s programming focuses on contemporary creation and emerging performing arts forms, with particular attention to current artistic languages and the transformations shaping the international performing arts landscape. Within the framework of the Festival Off Avignon, it hosts proposals from the performing arts field that encourage the crossing of artistic languages and perspectives.

Its curatorial approach prioritises works based on solid artistic research, in dialogue with their time, capable of engaging diverse audiences and attracting the interest of the international professional ecosystem present at the Festival Off Avignon.

In this context, La Manufacture seeks to highlight new artistic voices and to foster the international circulation of works, creating opportunities for further projection and dissemination in France and in other international circuits.

In line with this curatorial vision, proposals must align with the following curatorial axes: contemporary aesthetics with international projection; projects grounded in solid artistic research linked to relevant social, political or aesthetic issues; works capable of establishing a direct and meaningful relationship with diverse audiences and of generating strong interest among programmers and professional agents; and proposals with potential for further circulation in France and other international contexts.

b. Professional agents representing Creative Territories

This call invites representatives of organisations within the creative sector that develop territorial work processes aimed at strengthening creative economies, incorporating intersectoral and interdisciplinary approaches that integrate the performing arts as one of their core axes.

Eligible applicants include representatives of Chilean public or private organisations, such as festivals, cultural centres, networks, platforms and collectives, that promote territorial articulation, foster contemporary performing arts practices and develop creative and collaborative initiatives with local roots and international projection.
