This is the funny and heart-wrenching story of Casper and Tite Pièce, two children who are both ordinary and extraordinary.
Instead of going to school, they usually meet at a crossroads.
Two kids on the edge of the world, tossed aside like empty cigarette packs.
Two kids on the fringe, making us zigzag between life and death, between dream and reality.
Two kids who watch life from the outside, inventing their own truths.
Two kids who still dare to throw a spark of hope in the face of the world.
Short version of the text established by Théâtre Clandestin. Full version available from L’Arche éditeur.
Company presentation
Théâtre Clandestin is a traveling performance caravan designed to bring contemporary writing into public spaces. Its mission is to meet people where they are, bringing art to unexpected places — whether in parks, parking lots, pétanque courts, campgrounds, or village squares. Created in 2017 by Thomas Trelohan, Théâtre Clandestin seeks to reclaim and renew its connection with today's forms of writing. Yes — to reinvent, to imagine, to invite itself into the heart of the city, opening curious windows into the world.
Through productions that playfully engage with what lies off-screen.
