About Disobeying – Timely Piece n°9
We chose to interview young women with an immigrant background to question each of them about their relationship to family, religion and their future. Each in her own way testifies to a NO set as a founding act. No to the wishes of the father, no to the injunctions of society, of tradition. We want to tell the story of victories, of victorious women, of stubbornness, of disobedience.

"Four incredible actresses, with communicative energy and explosive force, camp disturbing and elusive characters whose speech haunts us long after the end of this exciting show."
"A show about the virtues of disobedience that escapes good feelings and moralism."
"A masterpiece that speaks without taboos about sexuality, religion, gender relations, family relations."
"A kick in the prejudices, the indiscipline of thought, the revolted body, the ground to look at society, the time, its intrinsic complexity, its contradictions, its youth often killed or too easily labelled."
