About Des air(e)s d’anges / angels’ airs
We don’t know where we come from, stardust or clay; this remains a mystery in the world chaos. Some think we fell from up there, others say we grew from the bottom, half angels, half devils, half trees, and half clouds.
This is probably the reason why we, humans, seek in others this half of ourselves that we lost before, somewhere in our dark nights. Fortunately, dance gathers people sometimes.
The choreographer Bouba Landrille Tchouda
Nourished by urban and world cultures he grew up with, Bouba Landrille Tchouda examines dance from a vast number of angles, hip-hop , capoeira, contemporary dance. His mixed career path, made of original meetings/encounters, feeds his unlimited investigations of dance language possibilities, trying to push its limits, to break through mankind barriers.
"Des air(e)s d’anges (angels’ airs) brings to light singular human beings, who state their culture, their dance, and who they are loud and clear… An intense and joyful show in which our feelings and emotions are mixed up."
